rusty gold

I live in a fairly small city.
Only a handful of very tiny high rises and a quaint little down town.

Once you get outside of the city, it is a very different story.

Lots of unexpected things just seem to popup
Old painted signs.
Horses. (this isn't unexpected, but still neat).
The Florida Trail (a hiking trail that spans the state).
Crazy bugs that I never see in the city (and subsequently run away from, screaming like a little girl).
Creaky old barns and houses with rusty tin roofs.
and the closest thing to hidden treasure I have ever found - an amazing field of old rusty cars.

I am so curious to know how all of these rusty cars got there.
Who keeps it mowed? Did one person own all of these cars and drive them? Is that person going to come out of the woods and kidnap us? Or more realistically, just yell at us?

In case you didn't know, I hate being yelled at and will avoid it at all costs.
But this place was too cool to pass up, we had to run around and explore everything.

Did we feel like Marian and Indiana Jones? Maybe a little bit...just maybe
